DeafLAN 7 site open!

Hi gamers!

We can announce proudly that the preparations for DeafLAN 7 are ongoing, and today the website has openend! The lay-out has slightly been modified, hope you guys like !t ;)

DeafLAN 7 will be organised on 16-17-18 april 2010 at "De Vierde Zaal" in Ghent (Ghentbruges). For more information - click on "Informaiton" - there you'll also find the procedure to sign up for DeafLAN 7! It's possible to pay now for the LAN!

Compo's will be announced later, you'll get a mail for this.

Game on, and we hope to see you all at DeafLAN 7! :D

Servers and prizes! / 16-03-09

Hi fellow gamers,

Here we are with the third DeafLAN newsletter! We will announce a few interesting things:

Servers:

From now on, it is possible to take your server with you for use on the LAN. Your server will be placed in an apart corner, so it must be administered remotely and have a power cable fit. Prizes:
All sponsors have been signed up, the trophies have been ordered... so with pleasure we are annoucing that the worth of our prizes is nearly 1500 euro!!!

Giga-Byte: 4 motherboards worth 400 euro
Electronic Arts: 11 games worth 350 euro
Speedlink: keyboards, gamepads, mousepads, gadgets worth 200 euro
Nintendo: Wii games and gadgets worth 200 euro
Gamegear: mousepads worth 50 euro

Intermediate newsflash / 06-02-2009

Dear gamers,

DeafLAN is getting started very well: we have now 48 participants of whom 22 have already transferred their money! Those have thus already been able to choose their seats on the floor plan! We insist to transfer the money as soon as possible, so you will be able to choose your own seat as well ;) it’s also very helpful for the crew, so we can start paying certain bills.

As you all know, food is included in the subscription money, which is
2 times breakfast and spaghetti on Friday night. On Saturday we will serve vol-au-vent with croquettes.

The poker contest is still being organised, we will give more information later on … The final results of the votes for the compo’s are also known! The compo’s will be:
- Main compo: Counter-Strike Source 3on3
- UT2K4 1on1
- Flatout 2 free for all

We also have attracted a few sponsors - among which Nintento! -, you will find them on our sponsor page. This will be updated ;).
